Koppen has a degree in geography from the University of Bergen (2005) and is currently working in the Department of Housing and Environmental Planning Research. Her responsibilities at NIBR are mainly in the field of planning and application processing with regard to the Planning and Building Act, coastal zone, shoreline and landscape management and geographic information systems as analytical instruments.
